You may remember from January 2019 that registered Democrats have the opportunity every two years to elect delegates to the state party. These Assembly District delegates have the opportunity to vote for the California Democratic Party officers, vote on the state party platform, and candidate endorsements. If you’d like to be a delegate, you must register as a candidate by Tuesday, December 15.
In 2019, the AD42 delegate elections took place in Banning. In 2021, they will be conducted entirely by mail, no postage required. You must register for a ballot by January 11, by filling in this form: ADEM Ballot Request.
