Be part of history this weekend – Stonewall history! Actors, extras and painters are needed for Stonewall Remembrance weekend, June 22-24, at the Art Queen complex, downtown Joshua Tree. Dress in 1969 flamboyant glory for a one act play, paint murals to document the faces of the early LGBTQ movement. The shy type? Not artistic? Hospitality volunteers are needed for the art shows from 6-9pm on Friday, June 22; the 6-11pm Main Events on Saturday; and the screening of the inspirational “Pride,” at 8pm on Sunday evening.
