Or, you can drop off your mailed, filled out ballot, in the envelope provided that you must sign and date, at the early voting location or at any polling place on election day, November 8th.

You can surrender your mailed ballot to vote in person at your early voting location or at the polling place on November 8th. It’s okay if you lost, misplaced or forgot your mailed ballot, because the poll worker is able to electronically cancel your mailed ballot even though you don’t have it with you.

How to vote provisionally if you are not registered: (same day registration)

Ask the poll worker to register you on site and let you vote provisionally right then. Your vote will be counted when the Registrar of Voters verifies your information on the voter registration form that you will be filling out. You can vote provisionally at the early voting site or at the polling place on November 8th.

How do I know who to vote for?  How to research candidates, measures and propositions:

You can research in your mailed County Voter Information Guide or online at https://votersedge.org/ca  Here, you plug in your address and you can see your local races. You make your selections (there is info on some candidates and measures to see there and you can see who endorses or opposes the candidates and measures) and it will save your picks and email or text them to you when you hit finish. Another research source is https://justfacts.votesmart.org/

How to fill a ballot out: There are voting instructions in the County Voter Information Guide that you were mailed. Or you can vote in person either at the early voting location or at your polling place on November 8th. There, the poll workers can assist you. Vote Morongo Basin can also help you.
